We can't do this alone! There are lots of ways to help if you're as excited about Hummingbird as we are.

Create Your Own

Make your own songs in Hummingbird! You can download our Hummingbird Illustrator Template (.ai File), which provides a basic template with all the note symbols to make it easier to create sheet music. If you like, please share them and we can add them to our library.

The file is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 License.

Developers

We want to make it easy to turn any music into Hummingbird. So we're building open-source software to translate music XML files into Hummingbird sheet music. Javascript knowledge is most helpful. If you or someone you know wants to help, then check out our GitHub repo or our Google Group for more info. Of course, if you have specific questions, feel free to get in touch.

Join The Study

We're directly comparing Hummingbird to traditional notation over a 6-month period. It simply involves a few surveys over the course of your normal lessons. We're looking for students and teachers who'd like to help. If you're interested, please say hi.

Stay In Touch

Join our mailing list. We'll share updates and new songs when we have them. And of course, never spam you.
